What is happiness?

It is the quality or state of being happy and what is a state?
It is the condition of a person or thing, as with respect to circumstances. Every day  we are bombarded by situations that take a toll on our 'state' or 'condition.' We spend thousands to provide petty luxuries to ensure our happiness...so tell me, if something is only presented as a state or condition, how can we invoke it by material (physical) possessions?

We tend to fall slaves to our senses, and desire overwhelms our beings driving us to cravings.

The man dwelling on sense objects develops attachment for them; from attachment springs up desire, and from desire (unfulfilled) ensues anger. From anger arises infatuation; from infatuation, confusion of memory; from confusion of memory, loss of reason; and from loss of reason one goes to complete ruin and becomes delusional.

Happiness tends to be synonymous to peace of mind  and this is achievable through a simple yet very difficult step;  by giving up and truly renouncing our desires and moving free from attachment, egoism, and thirst for pleasure, we,  not can, but  WILL  attain  peace of mind.

So I have once again come up  wit another one of my 'vapse theories'
they are vapse because these thoughts run through my mind at random moments during the day wen im completely immersed in thought about  other random things……and….well….they are not really supposed to be called theories because these thoughts were not tested and compared to a standard we are accustomed to…but wat da hell….these vapse theories come up…and today’s pick is...

People end up with ppl they’re like….i mean…people with whom they have similar personality traits with and habits and behaviourial patterns…..i don’t mean things they hav in common lik fav color, song,  tv show,….none of that crap…..its someone ure like….hopefully wen one of my vapse theories comes along again…ill be enlightened further…..until then…peace out!

Intelligence vs. Knowledge

i would firstly like to point out that knowledge and intelligence are two sides of the same coin......but not opposite in nature....knowledge can be of contrasting nature-good and bad...but one only posesses true intelligence when they can decipher between good and bad knowledge...ie..the ability of the discriminative intellect....

jus like the ability of a swan to extract the cream from milk and leave behind the water...so too is the mind of a truly intelligent person.

Greetings
